Ethnolink collaborated with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to enhance accessibility and inclusivity by providing translation and typesetting services for their information webpages, Action Plan, and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Strategy. The project involved translating documents into 16 languages to ensure individuals from diverse linguistic backgrounds could access crucial information about NDIS services and support.
The challenge lay in ensuring equitable access to information and support services for individuals with disabilities from multicultural backgrounds. Many individuals facing language barriers may struggle to navigate the NDIS system or understand available services without translated materials. Addressing this challenge required comprehensive translation and typesetting solutions to make essential information accessible to a broader audience.
Ethnolink provided translation and typesetting services to translate NDIS information webpages, Action Plan, and CALD Strategy into 16 languages. By ensuring materials were available in multiple languages, Ethnolink facilitated greater accessibility and understanding of NDIS services among multicultural communities. This solution aimed to empower individuals with disabilities and their families to make informed decisions about their support needs and access available services.
