Reflecting who we’ve become: Ethnolink’s brand refresh

by Costa Vasili

The team at Ethnolink is delighted to launch our new brand. More than a year in the making, this brand represents the next chapter for Ethnolink. It’s not just about new colours or logos, it reflects how we’ve grown, what we do today, and the values that guide us.

Over a period of time, Ethnolink has evolved from a translation company into a leading multicultural communications agency offering a suite of end-to-end services from research and campaign conception to delivery and execution – plus everything in between.

In addition to translation services, we now deliver research projects to better understand multicultural communities. We run focus groups (with NAATI-certified interpreters), create culturally adapted graphics and videos, and help our clients connect with their audience more meaningfully through media and community engagement.

What sets us apart is how we engage multicultural and First Nations communities — with care, respect, and authenticity. We’re the go-to agency when it comes to reaching diverse communities in Australia.

Our vision is simple: to empower your story by understanding, creating, translating, and sharing.

Our mission is to share stories through language that embolden individuals and empower multicultural communities.

This new brand is designed to reflect that mission — a daily reminder of the purpose behind our work.

Care, kindness, and compassion have always been at the heart of Ethnolink. These values shape how we work, how we collaborate, and how we show up for the communities we serve. Therefore we created a brand that ensures this is visible to everyone.

Our team has grown too — from a small group of 10 to more than 70. Together, we manage every stage of our projects, from strategy through to delivery.

This brand brings all of that to the surface. It’s a clear expression of who we are and how we work.

We’re proud to be a team that works with purpose. Social consciousness isn’t a marketing angle — it’s how we operate, every day.

Our CEO, Costa Vasili founded Ethnolink in 2011, inspired by his father’s journey as a Cypriot immigrant who faced significant language barriers upon arriving in Australia. Growing up in Melbourne’s culturally diverse suburbs, Costa witnessed first-hand how language could either hinder or facilitate social inclusion.  Motivated by this, he set out to eliminate language as a barrier to social and economic participation. Ethnolink was born from that vision.

Fourteen years on, Costa and the team continue to carry those values forward — honouring his father’s legacy and showing how language, when used thoughtfully, can empower individuals and unite communities.

Our refreshed brand is a reflection of that ongoing commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and connection.

You will start to see our refreshed branding across social media and our website. We’d love for you to explore it and see how we’re evolving.
